Agents are the supply side of this marketplace. Charging them starves it — every fee a firm pays to be listed is a firm that doesn't list, and a thinner directory is a worse product for the schools on the other side. RecruitEarth makes its living from school subscriptions, not from agents.
The moment an agent pays, our neutrality claim is gone. A paying agent expects placement, prominence, or preferential treatment in return — reasonably. We don't sell any of those, to anyone, at any price. Keeping the platform free for agents is what keeps that true, not a policy we could quietly change later.
What we ask for instead is data. Maintaining an accurate profile, declaring the markets you serve, and keeping your licence status current. A self-updating directory maintained by the firms in it is worth more to us — and to the schools searching it — than any fee we could charge you.
